The Zim Smith Trail in Malta is closed from Eastline Road in Malta to Curry Road in Round Lake through Friday for a paving project.

That section of trail will be open during the Memorial Day weekend and then close again next Tuesday through Thursday.

Work will be going on through most of June, and trail users are encouraged to remain alert, the county said.

The trail restoration is part of a larger sewer district interceptor rehabilitation project in Saratoga County, which the county hopes will last for 50 or more years, they said.
