E-bike rider hospitalized after being hit by SUV in Fort Edward

An E-bike rider is in critical condition after being hit by an SUV in Fort Edward on Thursday.

The SUV was turning from Broadway onto Schuyler Street when it hit the biker, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

That biker was taken to Glens Falls Hospital and transferred to Albany Medical Center.

No one in the SUV was hurt.

The road was closed for a time but has now reopened.

The crash is under investigation.
