Police: Brooklyn man sold drugs out of Queensbury hotel

A Brooklyn man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling drugs at a Queensbury hotel.

State Police received complaints about drug activity. After surveilling the property, police identified the suspect as 41-year-old Gregory C. Nelson. When he was arrested, troopers found drug paraphernalia, a large amount of cash and heroin and crack cocaine packaged for sale, they said.

Nelson has been charged with six counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

He also has active warrants out of Washington County. He was sent without bail to Warren County Jail.
