Troy man charged in shooting that critically injured woman
A Troy man has been arrested in Wednesday's shooting that severely injured a woman.
Jason P. Carter, 22, is accused of firing several shots into a residence on 6th Avenue between 102nd and 103rd streets in Lansingburgh. The 24-year-old woman remains in critical condition.
Carter was arrested at a residence on Williams Street.

Police have not stated any motive for the shooting.
Carter was arraigned in Troy City Court Thursday morning on charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
