Albany duo face drug charges after traffic stop

Two Albany men are facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Wednesday.

Troopers stopped a vehicle on Hillcrest Avenue driven by Amin E. Williams, 29, for a traffic violation. Police found felony-weight narcotics inside the vehicle, they said. Passenger Michael Moore allegedly had an additional controlled substance.

Williams and Moore, 27, were arrested on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were arraigned in Green Island Town Court and released on their own recognizance.
