Stillwater man admits to driving drunk with child in vehicle

A Stillwater man has admitted to driving while intoxicated and crashing with a child under 15 inside.

Theodore B. Pamper, 35, was arrested March 2 after State Police responded to a report of a car that crashed into a utility pole on Cold Spring Road. He pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Monday to aggravated DWI with a child.

Pamper was treated on scene by the trooper and EMS for a suspected overdose. He regained consciousness and was taken to Saratoga Hospital, police said.

He is due to be sentenced on Aug. 12.
