Albany man convicted of weapons possession

An Albany man had been found guilty of weapons possession.

James Ford, 52, was convicted Friday after a jury trial in Albany County Court. Ford had an illegal pistol and assault weapon in the area of 475 South Pearl St. on Sept. 3., the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 23.
