Albany man admits to federal drug, gun crimes
An Albany man has pleaded guilty to federal drug and weapon charges.
Kamaro Campbell, 42, admitted in U.S. District Court to a series of allegations. He had 105 grams of fentanyl and 95 grams of cocaine when police searched his residence. He also had a fanny pack containing a loaded pistol and $15,000, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
A separate search of Campbell’s storage unit found another 105 grams of cocaine. Campbell sold 155 grams of cocaine and 74 grams of meth during undercover police operations.
Campbell is scheduled to be sentenced at a later date. He faces 10 years to life in prison and a fine of up to $5,250,000.
