Albany County sheriff’s deputies arrest 12 after multiple traffic stops

The Albany County Sheriff’s Office arrested 12 people on Thursday following a series of traffic stops in the city of Albany.

Among the people facing charges are: Trequan Clow, 32, Demauri E. Marshall, 23, and Qualon Cooks, 32, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Clow and Marshall are accused possessing crack cocaine.

Cooks was arrested after a brief foot chase. He also had Oxycodone pills, according to police.

All three were scheduled to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court.

Five other people were arrested and charged with misdemeanor-level drug charges. Four more people were picked up on warrants for various crimes and turned over to other police agencies.
