Four people face charges after Glens Falls traffic stop

Four people were arrested on drug charges last week after a Glens Falls traffic stop. Police stopped a vehicle on July 19 around 1 p.m. on Lawrence Street. Officers found narcotics and one of the occupants had absconded from parole.

Police stopped the vehicle on July 19 around 1 p.m. on Lawrence Street. Officers found narcotics inside.

Facing two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance are: Mark A. Mcfarlane, of Poughkeepsie, Beverly A. Singletary, of Gloversville, Felicia N. Benedict-Hillman, of Johnstown, and Shawnda G. Seelow, of Gloversville.

Benedict-Hillman has an outstanding parole warrant and Singletary was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, investigators said.

They were all held pending arraignment.
