Lola Saratoga owners calls second burglary “disheartening”

Burglary is disheartening to Lola Saratoga owner

This is the second time Lola Saratoga has been burglarized. Thieves stealing thousands of dollars worth of high-end merchandise.

This is the second time in less than a year that thousands of dollars in high-end merchandise have been stolen from the local boutique.

The first time it happened at the store location in Saratoga Springs back in December.

Lola Saratoga mainly sells designer bags, and that’s what was stolen from the Guilderland location at Stuyvesant Plaza on Tuesday, July 23 around 12:45 a.m.

Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, and YSL are the bags that were swiped, according to Megan Druckman. She is the owner of the shop.

Druckman said she doesn’t have an exact number of how much this is going to cost her, but it’s somewhere in the thousands range.

NewsChannel 13 crews spotted security cameras around Stuyvesant Plaza. Our team asked if Guilderland police if there is any video footage of the incident. No response just yet.

The preliminary investigation found three men had smashed the front store window. Police say the suspects left in a newer model, white Honda SUV.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call Guilderland PD.

No arrests have been made in this incident or the one in Saratoga Springs.

However, SSPD say they have several viable leads and are sharing information with Guilderland PD.
