Police: Too soon to tell if suspect in Lola Saratoga’s theft involved in Stuyvesant Plaza burglary
Guilderland Police said it is too early to determine if the suspect identified in the Lola Saratoga burglary is connected to the burglary at the Stuyvesant Plaza store.
Guilderland Police said they do not know if the suspect identified in the burglary at Lola Saratoga in Saratoga Springs is the same person responsible for the theft at the Stuyvesant Plaza store.
“As of right now, it’s too early in our investigation to determine where or not the two are related,” said Guilderland Police Public Information Officer Kristopher Scarano.
Scarano would not provide any details about where their investigation stands just that it is ongoing.
On Tuesday, Saratoga Springs Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Toron Melton for allegedly stealing luxury handbags from the Saratoga Springs store on Dec. 12. He is facing charges of burglary and grand larceny.
