An update from St. Peter’s Health Partners after a faulty pipe forced the Albany Memorial Campus to evacuate on Friday.

They say remediation efforts continue Saturday afternoon, and the facility remains closed and their emergency department remains on diversion until further notice.

Health Partners say significant progress has been made to restore services at the campus.

All essential equipment is up and running at the campus, including hot and cold water, HVAC, boilers, and IT infrastructure. They said power to the building was never lost during the flooding from the pipe, and continues to remain online.

They say the Emergency Department’s goal is to reopen on Monday, followed by select specialty services later in the week.

They added that patients seeking emergency care can visit either ERs at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany or Samaritan Hospital in Troy, and that all impacted outpatient appointments have been canceled, rescheduled, or moved to one of their other facilities.
