Police: Stabbing under investigation in Albany near Delaware Street

Albany Police say they are investigating a stabbing that happened Friday afternoon in the area of Delaware Avenue and Beekman Street.

Staff from Albany Medical Center notified police around 3:50 p.m. that a 25-year-old male had entered the emergency room with stab wounds to his back and leg.

Police say through investigation that there was an argument between the victim and the suspect, resulting in the suspect stabbing the victim.

The victim is being treated at Albany Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
