Shots fired, man injured in Schenectady

Just before eight o’clock Sunday morning, police responded to the area of Albany Street and Kelton Avenue for a report of shots fired.

They found an injured man. He had been shot at, but not hit. He was then injured in a physical attack by the suspect. He was taken to Ellis hospital.

Police say they recovered a handgun at the scene. No suspects are in custody.
