Police: Corinth man drove drunk with suspended license

A Corinth man is accused of driving drunk with a suspended license.

Deputies stopped Christie E. Newman, 53, just after 8:45 p.m. on Main Street in the village of Corinth. He did not have tail lights on, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Newman’s license had been suspended pending prosecution for a separate DWI charge, police said.

Newman was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, DWI and violations of having no tail lamps and using cannabis in a motor vehicle.

He was arraigned in Corinth Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
