NewsChannel 13 and the American Red Cross teamed up Thursday for a Save-A-Life Blood Drive at four Capital Region spots: the Saratoga City Center, Proctors in Schenectady, Moose Lodge in Johnstown and the Hedley Building in Troy.

As of 6:59 p.m. on Thursday, there were 245 units of blood collected. Every unit can save up to three lives.
