Police: Man pointed gun at person in Wilton
An Albany County man is accused of pointing a handgun at a person in the town of Wilton.
Wayne D. Miller, 24, of East Berne, allegedly got into an argument with a person he knew around Heritage Way and showed the weapon. He left the location in a vehicle before police arrived.
Miller was found with the help of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Sitterly Road in Clifton Park. A search of a nearby wooded area by a sheriff’s K-9 found the gun and other items belonging to Miller.
Miller was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond or $100,000 partially secured bond.
