Peregrine assisted living sued over deadly Legionnaires’ disease outbreak; doctor says disease is rare

The Peregrine Assisted Living Facility said it will respond shortly to a lawsuit it now faces over a deadly legionella outbreak.
Four people have died in relation to the outbreak there.
The state Department of Health said they are working with Peregrine on water flushing as the residents continue to be monitored for signs of the bacterial infection.
At last check, four people have died, 20 people have been hospitalized, and 10 people have tested positive for the disease.
