South Glens Falls police investigate suspicious man who may have lured child
Police in South Glens Falls are looking into an incident involving a pickup truck.
A shaken-up father says he's now planning to have a sit-down conversation with his children about the perils of "stranger danger."
They got a report of a suspicious man around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The man was driving a dark green Chevrolet pickup truck in the area of Gansevoort Road and Reynolds Street.
The man called out to a 4-year-old child to “come here,” a witness said.
The man took off heading north on Gansevoort Road, but another adult stopped him.
Police are looking out for the pickup truck. They are also watching video recorded of the area.
