Vermont State Police arrested 26-year-old male for DUI in Pownal

Vermont State Police tell us they arrested 26-year-old Seth G. Drake of Bennington for a DUI on Friday night.

Police say they responded to a single motor vehicle crash on South Stream Road in the Town of Pownal around 10:25 p.m.

Authorities say initial investigation determined Drake had driven off the roadway and severed a telephone pole before his vehicle came to rest. Police say they detected signs of impairment from Drake at the scene.

Drake was taken to Shaftsbury State Police Barracks for processing, and he was issued a citation to appear in Vermont State Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on October 14.
