Mechanicville man pleads guilty to DWI

A Mechanicville man has pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated.

Edward J. Young, 73, admitted in Saratoga County Court that he drove drunk on July 11 in Malta. Police said he was driving without a license and without a ignition interlock device. 

Young pleaded guilty to the one DWI count in satisfaction of the charges. 

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 22.
