Schoharie woman drove into Rensselaerville house while intoxicated

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple says the Sheriff’s Office arrested Cassandra M. Wilkinson, 33, for a DWI on Saturday.
Deputies got a call around 1:15 p.m. for a vehicle that crashed into a house in the Town of Rensselaerville, which the operator was identified as Wilkinson.
Apple says Wilkinson showed signs of intoxication and failed roadside sobriety tests. She also refused to submit to a chemical test to determine her blood alcohol content.
The Sheriff’s Office says Wilkinson was charged with driving while intoxicated on two counts: a class E felony and an unclassified misdemeanor.
She is due to be arraigned in the Town of Rensselaerville Court at a later date.
