Police: Bennington County man drove under influence of drugs

A Bennington County man is accused of driving under the influence of drugs.

Vermont State Police responded to a disturbance at residence on Route 7A in the town of Arlington around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8. James D. Pecor allegedly drove to the home and got into a fight with another person.

When troopers spoke with Pecor, he displayed signs of impairment. He also allegedly had fentanyl and a depressant.

Pecor was charged with driving under the influence and having a suspended license. He was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division on Dec. 2.
