Albany man gets 2 years in prison for having illegal gun

An Albany man was sentenced on Thursday to 2 years in prison for having a gun.

Mikhail Green, 22, was arrested on Jan. 5 after a traffic stop. Investigators found an illegal “ghost gun” with an extended 30-round magazine.

Green pleaded guilty in June to attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

He also must serve 2 years of post-release supervision.
