Yankees close out the ALCS 4-1 against the Guardians, now onto the World Series
The New York Yankees have not reached the world series since 2009.
But, the wait would end late last night as the Yankees took on the Cleveland Guardians in game five of the American League Championship Series.
With the game tied at two in the 10th inning, Juan Soto hit a go-ahead three-run home-run for a 5-2 win. The Yankees closed out the series four games to one for the American League title, earning a trip to the World Series.
