McCoy hints that Central Warehouse may be razed soon

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy posted a video in which he hints that the Central Warehouse soon will be coming down.

Time may be growing short for the city of Albany’s biggest eyesore.

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy posted a video on Facebook of the Central Warehouse building.

The dilapidated building is slated to be razed. The video was captioned “Now you see it. Soon you won’t.”

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced in July that the state is contributing $10 million toward the demolition costs.

There is no timeline for the building to be torn down.
