A 46-year-old man was shot on Wednesday morning in Albany. The shooting happened around 8:45 a.m. in the area of Lexington Avenue and Sherman Street, according to police. The victim had a gunshot wound in his lower leg.

He was treated on scene and taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
