Dog dead after Albany fire
A dog has died in an Albany Fire
The fire broke out at 29 Stephen Street, Thursday evening, Albany Fire Chief Joseph Gregory said. Firefighters arrived at 10:38 p.m. and had the fire out 15 minutes later.
Two other dogs were rescued.

One person was home at the time of the fire and evacuated safely, Gregory said. No humans were hurt.
“There’s no injuries to any civilians or firefighters here and crews made a good stop,” said Captain Eric Johnson with the Albany Fire Department. “There is a significant fire damage on the first floor.”
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
