Schenectady man faces federal gun, drug charges

A Schenectady man is facing federal weapons and drug charges.

Willie Mills, 31, has been indicted on allegations that he distributed cocaine and fentanyl on four separate dates in 2023 and 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. In addition, prosecutors said Mills unlawfully had a firearm as a previously convicted felon.

Mill was arraigned on Oct. 29 in U.S. District Court and ordered detained pending trial.

He faces a prison term of 5 to 40 years and a fine of up to $5 million if convicted.
