Saturday night was the 55th Annual Holiday Parade in Schenectady.
Thousands lined up and down State Street to watch dozens of floats go by.
Some fan favorites were a gingerbread float, Candy Land, and The Grinch.
“It’s pure magic. And no one is sad in the parade,” said one parade-goer.
Another parade-goer we spoke to said they have been coming to the parade every year for the past 44 years.
There was also a Christmas Tree lighting and live music, marching bands, and theatrical performances from local high schools.
The parade ended with none other than Santa Claus and his reindeer.
