Report: UAlbany generates $1.1 billion for economy
A former aide accusing former New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment has dropped her federal lawsuit against him.
UAlbany says it generates $1.1 billion for our local economy.
The report was conducted by the Capital District Regional Planning Commission.
That includes $813 million in operational impacts and $211.7 million in construction related impacts.
The report found UAlbany students’ spending in the community adds up to around $80 million.
The study also says the school contributes to more than 8,000 jobs across the Capital Region.
