Salem man accused of having child porn
A Washington County man is accused of possessing child pornography.
Joshua M. Woodell, 20, of Salem, is accused of having images consistent with child sexual exploitation. His arrest followed a search of his Salem home on Dec. 12, State Police said. The investigation was prompted by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Woodell was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned in Washington County Centralized Arraignment Court and release on his own recognizance.
