UAlbany Police investigating stabbing

University at Albany Police are investigating a stabbing that happened on Wednesday.

Police were called for a possible stabbing around 5:30 p.m. near Empire Commons.

A female student told police that she was walking on a wooded trail from Empire Commons to Fuller Road, when an unknown female attacked her with a sharp object. The victim has minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a possibly white female, about 5 ft. 4 in., and weighing around 100 pounds, according to police. She appeared to be in her mid-30s and was wearing a black hat, black hoodie and black pants.
