Martin Luther King Jr. interfaith celebration set for Wednesday
Ahead of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, a celebration will be held Wednesday night in Albany.
The Congregation Beth Emeth is hosting an event at 7 p.m. People of all faiths are expected to come out to remember King.
There are also donations being accepted for the Dr. King Scholarship Awards. It is set up by the Capital Area Council of Churches. The application is open to seniors who live, worship or attend school in Albany or southern Rensselaer County.
