Glens Falls Police arrest two people in separate assault cases

Glens Falls Police have arrested two people in unrelated assault cases this past weekend.

The first one happened on Saturday around 5:45 p.m. at a residence on Morgan Street. Eric L. Larkin, 62, is accused of striking the victim over the head with a baton. The person was seriously injured and taken to Glens Falls Hospital, police said.

Larkin was charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and sent to Warren County Jail pending further proceedings.

On Sunday, police responded to a fight at the Glens Falls YMCA at around 11:50 a.m. Holden T. Sanders, 20, allegedly kicked the victim in the face. The person was taken to the hospital with a serious injury, according to police.

Sanders was charged with assault and arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court. He was released on his own recognizance.
