A $7,000 reward is now being offered in the case of Lavender the dog.
As NewsChannel 13 has reported, Lavender was found with her ear chopped off in Schenectady last month, along with several other injuries. She’s now on the mend at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
The reward comes from Partners in Animal Warfare, Animal Nation, the New York State Humane Association and a private donor.
Basean D. Brooks, 31, was arrested and accused of abandoning her. However, police still don’t know who caused the injuries.
Anyone with information on Lavender is asked to call 518-382-5245 or 518-788-6566.
