Albany County receives award for mobile COVID testing program

Albany County is getting recognized for its COVID testing efforts.
The county said it’s focused on equitable testing with the mobile testing program with the Whitney Young Health Center, helping identify COVID in underserved communities.
The program has earned the county with the Gold Innovative Practice Award by the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
The county’s health department is one out of eight to only receive this award.
