A boil water advisory was still in effect on Wednesday for the village of Ravena, town of Coeymans, and New Baltimore Water District after a water main break on Tuesday.

While crews have fixed the break, the boil water advisory will remain for the next few days until testing results come back.

In the meantime, the village is making sure free bottled water is available for people in need at the Ravena Fire Department in the morning and the village offices in the evening.

In recent years, the village has replaced three miles of waterline, but it says it still has about 16 miles to go.
