Four Albany County businesses accused of selling alcohol to minor

Four people at Albany County businesses are accused of selling alcohol to someone under 21.

The person who bought the alcohol was actually a volunteer working with police.

The four people work at JT Maxie’s on Wolf Road, Chili’s on Wolf Road, TGI Friday’s in Stuyvesant Plaza, and University Wine & Liquor on Western Avenue.

Police say 18 other Albany County businesses they checked were in compliance.

Meanwhile, troopers also just finished checking 20 businesses in Washington County.

They ended up charging one person at the Greenwich Mart on Route 29 for selling alcohol to a minor.
