Freihofer’s Run for Women in desperate need of volunteers
The Freihofer’s Run for Women is in two weeks, and organizers say they don’t have nearly enough people helping out.
The folks with the race say this is a desperate call. Normally they have 400 volunteers working. They need 300 to sign up for this to happen.
The race is celebrating 44 years this year. It’s June 4 and they say there is a variety of spots open.
You could hand out water, you could hand out race packets, you can be outside, inside, there’s something for everyone.
A perk, you’ll get a shirt, and feeling of helping out your community.
There are about 2,500 women signed up for the race so far.
