Green Island Bridge reopens after getting stuck in ‘up’ position

Drivers crossing the Green Island Bridge experienced a bit of a delay Monday after the bridge got stuck.

The bridge was stuck in the "up" position a little before noon.

Police re-routed cars from the area for about an hour or two while maintenance workers tried to fix things.

Police say they were told it was a power issue, but didn’t go into more detail.

The bridge has since re-opened to traffic.
