National Grid says power is back for 90% of Upstate New York customers who lost it in the snowstorm this week.

In an update at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the company said they expected nearly everyone else to be back on by 11:30 Wednesday evening. However, they say a few of the really small outages may not be fixed until Thursday.

Around 200,000 National Grid customers in the Capital Region and beyond lost power in the storm.

In the meantime, dry ice and bottled water will be handed in two Capital Region locations from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday: The Fulton County Emergency Management Office at 231 N. Perry Street in Johnstown and the Chestertown Fire Department at 5885 Route 8.
