New COVID cases in NY state at lowest point in four months
COVID numbers in New York state continue to drop.
In a written update on Monday, Gov. Hochul said there were 2,348 positive cases reported statewide on Sunday, the lowest since October 25.
The 3,524 people hospitalized with the virus is the lowest number since December 6.
The current 7-day positivity rate is 3.08%. It has declined for 39 days.
Sadly, another 48 people across the state died.
The 7-day average in the Capital Region is 5.32%.
The 7-day average in the Mohawk Valley is 5.77%
