ALBANY – There’s a new dining spot open for business in Albany.

The ribbon was cut Wednesday morning on the Mughal Palace, a casual Indian cuisine restaurant at 138 Washington Avenue.

Owner Tahir Mahmood has been cooking for nearly five decades in restaurants around the globe.

He has also cooked for a host of high-profile individuals from President Bill Clinton to Harrison Ford.
