Study: Your job could affect your dementia risk

What you do for a living could affect your risk of dementia.

A new study from the UK tracked over 100,000 adults in the U.S. and Europe for about 17 years.

They found people with mentally stimulating jobs were less likely to develop dementia in old age than those with non-stimulating jobs.

That link did not differ between men and women or those younger and older than 60.

This was an observational study and cannot prove cause and effect.
