Watervliet to get new City Court judge

Watervliet is getting a new City Court judge.

Sue Reinfurt is retiring this Wednesday, after 24 years on the bench.

Peter Torncello will be sworn in on Thursday to fill the upcoming vacancy.

Torncello is a graduate of Union College and Albany Law School.

He has worked in the Albany County District Attorney’s Office and as a public defender.
