NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Pvt. Joseph Banach of Broadalbin.

He served in World War II, and was part of the China-Burma-India Theater.

He earned a Good Conduct Medal and a World War II Victory Medal.

In addition, he was a volunteer fireman in the Broadalbin Fire Dept.
