We Salute You: Leroy Becker

NewsChannel 13 salutes Army PFC Leroy Becker of Shaftsbury.

He served in France, Belgium, and Germany during the 1940s. That includes Normandy on D-Day.

His several accolades include the Purple Heart and Silver Star.

He was also chief of the Shaftsbury Volunteer Fire Department.

He passed away in 1991.
