Annual “Cadets for Vets” hockey game raises funds for the Albany Housing Coalition

The La Salle Institute hockey team hosted its annual “Cadets for Vets” fundraiser at Frear Park in Troy on Saturday night. The annual event and hockey game honors United States veterans through its support for the Albany Housing Coalition.
State Senator Jake Ashby and Troy Mayor Carmela Mantello were both on hand. The Cadets took to the ice against the Capital Region Jets. La Salle won the game 3 2. Event organizers say over $75,000 have been raised through this event since 2018.
